Joanne and Tony- Blackstock Barn
Jo and Tonys day started with me making a trip to their flat in Hastings for Jo's preparations. It was a very intimate morning with only a handful of us being present. This made it all very relaxing, and calm, something that you don't often find with weddings but this was very nice to be a part of. I got to work photographing all the lovely details of the day, including the lovely summery flowers. Jo was sat in the perfect position in front of a big window for her makeup and hair. So with all that sunlight pouring in the photos were a joy to take. Once Joanne was ready it was time to leave and make our way to the venue, Blackstock Barn.
The weather was looking grey all day but it did hold off, so when Jo arrived at the venue we took some photos of her by the car before heading in. Jo made her grand entrance and Tony looked like the proudest guy alive to see her walking in looking so stunning. We photographed the wonderful ceremony all the way through before the couple made their exit to enjoy the rest of their day, and when I say enjoy, i mean it.
One of the features of Blackstock Barn is the family farm that is adjacent to it. No couple has made use of this feature more than Joanne & Tony and their guests. Lots of the party made their way down to the go karts and zip line etc to have some fun.
Another feature of the day worth mentioning is the German Oompah Band that played at the reception. Not something I had seen before but it was very cool and everybody enjoyed it.
Joanne and Tonys day was short but ever so sweet! We really enjoyed ourselves and wish them all the best for the future.
